Incredible new gadgets often go unnoticed on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. We round up the best ones each week to help them get the funding they need to become reality.

This week, we’ve got an awesome handheld emulator that lets you play your favorite retro games on the go, a laser keyboard that’s super-versatile, a tiny device that adds Bluetooth connectivity to your existing headphones, and more!

Raspi Boy

The unit features a built-in speaker, headphone jack and an HDMI port that lets you connect it to your TV and enjoy retro games on a big screen. Two USB ports allow you to add additional controllers for multiplayer titles.

The Raspi Boy already raised two times its funding goal, but you’ve got three days to claim yours. Just visit Kickstarter and pledge 69 euros to get your hands on a build-your-own kit.

Beelinguapp

Beelinguapp is an app that helps users learn new languages by listening to foreign audiobooks while reading the words simultaneously. It places foreign and native text side-by-side to help you understand each word, and supports English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and many more.

Beelinguapp is already available on Android and rated very highly, but its creator needs support to bring it to iOS. Pledge 10 euros or more before the campaign ends in 12 days and you’ll get ad-free access to the service for life.

iKeybo

iKeybo is the most portable keyboard and piano for your smartphone. It uses laser projection to turn almost any flat surface into a keyboard that you can use to compose music, write emails and more — and it doubles as a power pack to keep your handset topped up during the day.

Unlike traditional keyboards, the iKeybo can quickly switch between multiple keyboard layouts, so it’s ideal if you regularly type in different languages. It can also be used to play piano, guitar, bass or drums. Check out the demo video above!

iKeybo has 18 days left to run on Kickstarter but it has already raised almost three times its funding goal. To secure one of your own, simply pledge $89 or more before the campaign ends.

AirJack

So you have an iPhone 7 and you need Bluetooth headphones, but you don’t want to splash out on AirPods and wait six weeks for delivery. Don’t worry, because with AirJack, you can add Bluetooth connectivity to almost any set of existing headphones or earphones.

AirJack is a tiny unit that connects to your headphones via the headphone jack. It charges wirelessly and offers up to 32 hours of use (AirPods offer five hours, by comparison) in between charges. It also boasts an impressive 50-foot connectivity range and aptX technology.

What’s more, AirJack is super-affordable. You can currently bag yours on Indiegogo with a pledge of just $37, and it will be compatible with all the wired headphones you already own.
